Cash Payment
Cash may also be deposited directly into our ICICI Bank Account. However all
cash deposits attract a banking charge
of ₹ 200/- per transaction, irrespective of the transaction amount. These charges are levied by the bank &
hence unavoidable. We urge you to utilize the cheque payment / online transfer options to avoid any charges.
As per the amended Section 271DA of the Income Tax Act (effective from 01/04/2017), the Auctioneer cannot
accept cash payment of ₹ 2,00,000 (Two Lakh) or above. Payments must be made through Cheque or Demand Draft.
As per the amended Section 206C of the Income Tax Act (effective from 01/06/2016), if the consideration
(or any part of it) is received in cash for the sale of goods or provision of services exceeding ₹ 2,00,000 (Two Lakh),
TCS at 1% will be collected. The buyer must also provide PAN details for compliance.
As per CBDT Notification No. 36/2025 & Section 206C(1F), Tax Collected at Source (TCS) at the rate of 1% shall be
collected when the total sale consideration for a single item, including the buyer’s premium & applicable GST,
exceeds ₹ 10 Lcs in an Invoice.
